I own the frontend architecture at Doccle, a document platform serving 2.5M people in Belgium. I lead legacy migrations onto Next.js, ship production features and run the Claude Code setup the team uses daily.

🔄 Legacy modernisation
  • Migrated apps serving 2.5M users off legacy Grails and PHP to Next.js, React and TypeScript, without pausing delivery.
  • Delivered new product features on the new stack while the migration ran.
⚡️ Architecture & delivery
  • Built the shared 90+ component design system, documented in Storybook and covered by Chromatic regression tests.
  • Baked responsive behaviour, WCAG accessibility and cross-browser support into all 90+ components, inherited across teams.
  • Shipped the payment widget serving hundreds of thousands of users; other company apps and plugins now reuse it.
🤖 AI-assisted development
  • Wrote team conventions into Steering Rules with good and bad examples, so AI-generated code lands review-ready.
  • Set up the team's Claude Code pipeline, Jira ticket to merged code: worktrees, commits, MRs, reviews, CI/CD checks.
